Terms of Service

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and MangoMeet that governs your use of our website and video chat service. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, both of which are incorporated into these Terms. By using MangoMeet, you agree to all three.

1. Eligibility: Adults 18+ Only

You must be at least 18 years old to use MangoMeet. By creating an account or using the service, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms. We may verify age and eligibility, and we terminate accounts that misrepresent either. Minors are not permitted under any circumstances; if you become aware of an underage user, report the account immediately.

You are also responsible for ensuring that your use of the service is lawful where you live.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials confidential, and tell us promptly through the contact page if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not create an account for someone else, register multiple accounts to evade enforcement, or use another person's account.

3. Acceptable Use

MangoMeet exists for adults to meet and talk over live one-on-one video. Use it for that. You agree to treat other users with basic respect, to follow our Community Guidelines — which are part of these Terms — and to comply with applicable law.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited on MangoMeet. This list summarizes the Community Guidelines, which control in detail:

  • Use by, or any conduct involving, anyone under 18;
  • Nudity and sexually explicit content or behavior;
  • Harassment, threats, intimidation, or hate content;
  • Scams, fraud, and soliciting money or financial information from other users;
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your identity or age;
  • Recording, capturing, or sharing another user's video, image, or personal information without their consent;
  • Any illegal activity, and any use of the service to plan or facilitate illegal activity;
  • Spam, commercial solicitation, automated access, scraping, or interfering with the operation or security of the service.

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including warning, suspending, or permanently banning accounts, removing content, and reporting conduct to law enforcement where warranted.

6. Intellectual Property

The MangoMeet service — its software, design, text, graphics, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service as intended by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the service except as permitted by law.

You retain ownership of content you create, and you grant us the limited license necessary to transmit, display, and operate it within the service — for example, transmitting your live video to the person you are matched with. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used without obligation to you.

7. Disclaimers

MangoMeet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular people will be available to match with at any given time.

We do not conduct background checks and make no representations about the conduct, identity, or intentions of any user. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, on and off the platform. A match is an introduction, not an endorsement — read our Safety Guide and use good judgment before sharing personal information or meeting anyone in person.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service; and our total aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using MangoMeet and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination your license to use the service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law — survive.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operating company's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection law grants you rights to bring claims where you live. Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the service. Continued use of MangoMeet after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

Operator Notice

This document is a template pending final review. Before these Terms can be treated as legally binding, the operating company must confirm and insert its legal company name and registered address, the governing law and venue in Section 10, and the refund and cancellation terms applicable to paid features in Section 5, including any rights required by consumer law in the markets served. Review by qualified legal counsel is recommended prior to publication.
